Identity cards have been released by the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) on its official website of the NIOS D.El.Ed for the registered teachers. The official website for the NIOS D.El.Ed is dled.nios.ac.in and following are the steps which teachers can follow to download their respective identity cards.
- Visit the official website as mentioned above
- Click on the teachers’ login link on the homepage of the website
- On the next page enter either your email or mobile id and password
- The identity card will appear on the screen
- Download the identity card and save it on the computer
According to the reports, more than 15 lakh untrained teachers have registered for the online diploma course in elementary education with the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS). By clearing the exam successfully they will become eligible for the teaching job and the deadline for this is March 2019.
Of the total registered teachers, 3.53 lakh teachers are from government schools and rest all the teachers are from private schools. The highest number of untrained teachers have come from the state of Bihar followed by the teachers from UP.
