National Council for Education and Research Training (NCERT) is inviting the application from the eligible candidates for the NCERT Doctoral Fellowship 2017. The fellowship is being offered to the candidates who are eligible to apply and interested in carrying research in the field of education.
Candidates selected for the fellowship will have the opportunity to research in the field of education from perspective of different disciplines and build the base of education in contemporary context. A total of 10 fellowships are being offered nd the last date to apply for the same is January 8, 2018.
Eligibility
Candidates applying should have a good academic record with 60% aggregate in both graduate and post graduate level.
The candidates should not be above 35 years.
Candidates registered for the PhD degree or working toward their PhD registration are also eligible to apply.

- Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA)
- Concerns related to Teacher Education Schemes
- Teacher Educators’ Education
- Education of the Disadvantaged

- Curricular Areas
- Education for Peace
- Psycho-social Development of Children
- Any Burning Issue in School Education
Fellowship amount
Non-NET doctoral fellows will receive a grant of INR 14,000 per month and NET qualified candidates will receive INR 16000 per month as a grant.
Both the candidates will also receive a contingency grant of 10,000 per annum during the doctoral period.
