NEET PG 2018 will be conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) on January 7, 2018. The official notification regarding the same has been released by the NBE on its official website — nbe.edu.in.
The registration process for the exam has begun on October 31 and the last date to apply for the same is November 27, 2017.
The results for the NEET PG 2018 exam will be declared on January 31. Aspirants who are interested in applying for the exam must have either Aadhaar card or Aadhaar registration number.
NEET PG is a single window eligibility test for getting the admissions in PG medical courses.
Eligibility criteria
Candidates who have MBBS degree or provisional MBBS pass certificate are eligible to apply for the exam.
The candidate must have permanent/provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification which is issued by the Medical Council of India or State Medical Council.
Candidates should also have completed one year of internship or are expected to complete the same before March 31, 2018.
Registration fee
For general category and OBC, it is Rs 3,750 while for SC/ST/ PWD/ PH, it is Rs 2,750.
The test will be Computer Based Test (CBT) and will contain 300 multiple choice questions from the MBBS curriculum which is prescribed in the Indian Medical Colleges.
