Class 10 and 12 examination of UP Board will be conducted by Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad and will begin from February 6, 2018. The high school and intermediate exams will begin on February 6. However, high school exams will end on February 22 and that of intermediate will end on March 10.
According to the UP Board secretary, Neena Srivastava, high school board exams will end in 16 days which has never happened before.
From class 10, it is expected that 3712508 students will appear for the exam and from class 12, 3017032 students. Therefore, in 2018 a total of 67,29,540 students will appear for the exam which is 307793 more students in High Schools and 360713 more students in Intermediate.
Also, to prevent mass cheating in any form, the board is expected to make new announcements soon so that any kind of fraud can be prevented while giving the exams.
Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma also directed the education department to declare the date sheet for the state board examinations by this month so that students can get more time to prepare for the exams.
An official statement issued by the state government said “the minister also issued instructions pertaining to examination centers”.
