Human life lasts for 70-80 years or more, if we do not lead a meaningful life then the purpose of living will not be fulfilled. Every day 1,50 lakh people leave this world, tomorrow we and you will not be there, our life will be meaningful only when we serve for the betterment of society and society. These words were expressed by Swami Gyan Vatsal ji, a famous motivator and social reformer associated with Swami Narayan Sampraday.
Swamiji was addressing the Veer Veeras in a digital webinar organized by Mahaveer International Apex “Communicate a new energy in your life through social service”. He said that with money we can buy car, TV, material resources of luxury, luxury variety, luxurious house but, happiness, peace cannot be obtained on the strength of money, cannot provide real happiness to ourselves. Michael Jackson used to sleep on a bed of 94 thousand dollars but he was always restless for sleep.
Resources can be raised with money, but trust, trust, relationship, service, friendship cannot bring. Man keeps on talking about business, business and money round the clock, neither Alexander took the money nor Bill Gates would be able to take it with him. To say, we say that he came empty handed and will go empty handed, then why did he run so much? Swamiji said that we should also pay attention to social service, service to God and devotion to God, health and relationship. We should live not only for ourselves but also for the society and social services.
You said that dedication is necessary in social service, people associated with social service should fix two hours for social service in a week, just as you have dedication in industry, business, the same dedication should remain in social service. In social service, along with understanding, decision making ability should be developed. Further, he mentioned the selfless services of Dr. Doshi, an ophthalmologist from Anand city of Gujarat and told that Egolesh and Selflesh service is the right service.
Selfless service brings immense joy. And from this one gets physical, mental and financial prosperity and peace and God also blesses him with prosperity. In America, doctors also recommend selfless service for 2 hours a week along with medicines on their prescription. Swami Gyan Vatsal ji told that selfless service increases the endorphin hormones in the body, due to which an environment of feel-good is created. This does not bring the tension near.And get relief from diseases like blood pressure, cardiac etc. Heartbeat increases due to stress, due to which our mind gets disturbed, but social service gets rid of all these diseases, etc. Seva has been explained in detail.

Veer Shri Shantikumar Jain, International President of Mahaveer International Apex, in his welcome address, recommended the selflessness and dedication of Swami Gyan Vatsal ji and threw light about the organization and said that Mahavir International was established on 4th July 1975 in Jaipur, in these 46 years of service journey, MI has established many new dimensions. Through 10 thousand brave heroes of 309 branches, they are engaged in the service of suffering humanity across the country with the ideal of love to all, service to all and live and let live. Food, ration, sanitizer, masks, medicines etc. were distributed to 22 lakh needy people during the Corona period. Oxygen concentrator machines were made available to the patients by making 102 oxygen banks.Thousands of brave heroes are engaged in blood donation campaign and stop thalassemia campaign, last days from 8 to 15 August, 6725 units of blood were collected by organizing blood donation camps across the country in honor of the soldiers. Similarly, on Environment Day, about 25 thousand saplings were planted by running a tree plantation campaign across the country. Thousands of brave heroes are engaged in services like education, medicine, women empowerment, baby kit distribution for newborns etc. In the Corona period, without caring about their lives, the brave heroes were engaged in service with a dedicated spirit.
Selfless Services of Swamiji-Veer Shri Anil Jain
Veer Shri Anil Jain, International General Secretary, Mahaveer International, welcomed Swami Gyan Vatsal ji and appreciated your selfless efforts. You said that thousands of brave heroes of Mahaveer International are engaged in service in the field of social service with whole mind and money. You said that despite the dedication of all of us, it is felt that somewhere in various social service organizations we are not able to give full time.
Despite the goal of Nar Seva Narayan Seva and Manav Seva, after all, we are not able to give time completely, after all, what is the reason behind this, this question arises again and again. Certainly good and positive thoughts flourish in social service, tolerance increases and personality development is possible.
