Big B Reminisces 40 Years of Amar Akbar Anthony With an Adorable Pic

The 1977 superhit blockbuster Amar Akbar Anthony turned 40 years today and, Amitabh Bachchan got emotional and nostalgic.The Sarkar 3 actor posted an adorable vintage photo with his children Abhishek Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan Nanda which was taken on the sets of the film.

The 74-year-old actor tweeted the picture and  wrote alongside, “40 years of Amar Akbar Anthony .. and Shweta and Abhishek visit me on the set when I was doing song ‘my name is Anthony Gonsalves”

Released in the year 1977, Amar Akbar Anthony was a family drama directed by Manmohan Desai. Regarded as one of the classic formula films of the golden era, the film was a story of three brothers who get separated during childhood and are raised in three different faiths. They re-unite in their youth to fight a common villain.

In another tweet, Big B said, “40 years of ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’..what a film and what amazing memories..One day it shall be disclosed.

On the work front, Amitabh will next be seen next in Thugs of Hindostan alongside Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
