Bhopal’s gang-rape horror continues. A 10-year-old girl turned up at Jehangirabad police station on Thursday evening to say that she was raped by three men for two-and-a-half months in the house of a woman who first lured her with chocolates and then under the threat of killing her mother.
All four suspects – 66-year-old Nanhu Dada, Gokul Panwala, 38, and Gyanendra Pandit, 30, and the woman Suman Pandey – were arrested within two hours and charged under POCSO. The child’s father died last year. Her mother started noticing changes in her health and behaviour around September but the Class V student wouldn’t say anything.
