A day that would have been spent celebrating with friends and family, ushering in some surprises, is being rather a difficult one for the beautiful Hina Khan. Wondering why? Well, it’s Hina Khan’s birthday today. And instead of having fun being pampered by her loved ones on her big day, the Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai star is currently locked in the Bigg Boss 11 house. Just moments before Salman Khan could take her in, Hina showed despair at being alone on her birthday. “I am really sad that I will be celebrating my birthday with strangers in the house. I don’t know how it would be inside, and whether I will get a chance to bring in my day or not.”
The actor who was recently declared as the first runner-up of Khatron Ke Khiladi 8 (KKK) further added, “Of course I will miss partying and celebrating but then it’s just a birthday and I am sure my friends and family will shower their love and blessings from wherever they are. I really need it a lot this year.”
Hina might be a celebrity but she shared that she excels in all household duties. “Even when we had helpers in KKK, I used to wash my clothes daily. I am really cool with doing these works and would happily join the team in the Bigg Boss house. Also, I am good at survival cooking and have also practiced making rotis, so it’s going to be cool,” she shared with a broad smile. Hosted by Salman Khan, Bigg Boss 11 launched last night on Colors with 18 contestants getting locked in for 100 days in a palatial house.
Hina’s co-stars Karan Mehra and Rohan Mehra were participants last year in the same show. When asked if she discussed her participation and strategies, the young actor shared, “I did have a conversation with Rohan but since both of us are different personalities, our thought processes are quite different. Also, I had a long discussion with Lopamudra (Raut), who was my co-contestant in KKK, and had performed exceptionally well in Bigg Boss last time. Being a girl, she helped me clear out my fears and doubts. Gauahar (Khan), who is a dear friend, and the winner of Bigg Boss 7 also encouraged me. Interestingly, all of them suggested me the same things- be real, be yourself and stand up whenever required. So I guess am good to go now.”
Lastly, as we mentioned that the season will see the theme of neighbourhood wherein they will have to keep an eye on each other, Hina laughed to say, “I am really excited since I am quite good at doing that.”
