Study in India initiative launched by the GMAC

In an attempt to strengthen the position of India as a global hub of management studies, the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) entered into partnership with 9 leading B-schools to launch the study in India initiative.

This partnership will open the doors for the international aspirants of 27 countries which will be able to pursue the management education in India under the ‘study in India’ initiative.

This will help the India in rebuilding its attractiveness as a study hub for higher education among Africa, Middle East, South and East Asia.

Following are the names of the nine B-schools which entered into partnership with GMAC

Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA)
Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB)
Indian School of Business (ISB)
Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM Indore)
Xavier University Bhubaneswar (XUB)
SP Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR)
Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS)
Great Lakes Institute of Management (GLIM)
IMT Ghaziabad

This initiative is expected to build and strengthen the preference of Indian B-schools in international markets.Aspirants from 27 countries can log on to the official website of the initiative, and there they will have the option to secure the admission into any of the 9 partnered schools using the scores of the GMAT exam.
