ICSE Class 10 and ISC Class 12 exam results declared

NEW DELHI: The results of the ICSE Class X and ISC Class XII examinations have been announced.

The results are available on the career portal of the council and its website www.cisce.org , as well as through SMS.

Kolkata girl Ananya Maithy has emerged as the Class 12 topper with 99.5 per cent while the second topper is Ayushi from Lucknow with 99.25 per cent. Kolkata’s Anant took home the third spot with 99 per cent.

The pass percentage for Class 12 this year was 96.47 per cent and for Class 10 it stood at 98.53 per cent. A total of 175,299 students appeared for the Class 10 examination this year while 988 students appeared for the Class 12 exams. In both the ICSE and ISC results, girls have outshined boys yet again.

Last year, the ICSE and ISC results were announced on May 6. However, exams this year were delayed due to elections in several states.

The Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations, which conducts the exams, has introduced a DigiLocker facility to store digitally signed certificates and marksheets.

In another first, the Council has also made a provision for candidates to apply for rechecking of marks.

To receive the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) or Indian School Certificate (ISC) results by SMS, the candidate will need to type ICSE or ISC followed by their seven digit unique ID code and send the message to 09248082883.
