Cities play a pivotal role in shaping the social and economic fabric of a region by providing the basic framework for mobility, governance, infrastructure, and services. We stand today at the cusp of the 4th Industrial Revolution which has immense potential to leverage technologies for effective decision-making through real-time geospatial knowledge assimilation and sharing across city workflow.
In this context, it is imperative to identify the current state of adoption and integration of geospatial and frontier technology in cities, along with the challenges and gap areas in order to project the value proposition of a collaborative workflow for geospatial knowledge, to identify the evolving roles of diverse stakeholders, and to explore new business and partnership models for collaborative innovation.
