After a prolonged silence in the Hrithik-Kangana controversy, actor Hrithik Roshan released his first ever statement about the alleged affair, where he clarified that he believes in “being on the path of creativity, productivity and constructive work”. Soon after the clarification, fans were quick to point out that Krrish 3 was anything but constructive, after which the actor was forced to withdraw his statement from the public domain.
When fans spotted the blunder, the actor realised that he has made a mistake in the statement that is bigger than his decision to work with Kangana Ranaut. “The entire controversy has drained me to the extent where I forgot that I did a movie like Krrish 3. Please be forgiving,” he said.
Kangana Ranaut, on the other hand, refused to speak to us in response to Hrithik’s statement. “I don’t have a movie coming up in the near future, so why should I create any unnecessary controversy at the moment? If you really want my response, wait until I set off on the promotional campaign for my next movie,” she said.
Despite Kangana’s refusal, her sister Rangoli was happy to share information about the alleged affair. However, after realising that we don’t have a prime time set-up for the interview, she refused to speak to us.
Hrithik, after deciding to finally break his silence about the controversy with the statement, gave interviews to several news channels. In a gesture to thank the media for the non-stop coverage, he said, “I am grateful to the national media for allowing me to replace national issues like death of children in the UP hospital while Amit Shah’s son’s company mysteriously increased its turnover by 16,000 times in a year. God knows what would have happened to me if I were to present my case to the media in any other country.”
