Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra were one of B-Town’s most-talked-about couples, never mind that they insisted they were just good friends. However, if recent reports are to be believed, their relationship has gone kaput, courtesy Jacqueline Fernandez.
It is Jacqueline and Sidharth, who are the new ‘it’ couple. Not too long ago, Jacqueline met Sidharth’s parents for dinner, and reportedly introduced her beau to her inner circle, as well.
But there is one person who is extremely unhappy with the turn of events. Alia and Sidharth’s mentor, Karan Johar, who launched the duo in Student Of The Year (2012), is particularly heartbroken by their split and doing everything he can to get them to patch up.
Apparently, he spoke to the two privately and advised them to sort things out, but Alia and Sidharth did not pay heed.
Alia and Sidharth, who once made an entry at every gathering together, came under the same roof at Ranbir Kapoor’s birthday party on Wednesday night, but arrived and left separately. It is being said that they did not even exchange pleasantries at the bash.
Incidentally, Alia is on good terms with her ex-boyfriend Ali Dadarkar, and pictures of her partying with him surfaced on the internet recently.
On the work front, Alia recently wrapped the second schedule of espionage thriller Raazi in Kashmir.
