Bollywood has a lot in store for movie-goers today. From an emotional film like Bhoomi to a biopic, based on the life of underworld Dawood Ibrahim’s sister Haseena Parkar, Friday is all set to entertain you. First up is Sanjay Dutt’s much-awaited film Bhoomi, which marks his comeback to the big screen after a gap of 3 years. The Omung Kumar-directed film will explore the relationship between a father and daughter. Sanjay Dutt will portray the role of Arun, a doting and protective father, who has found a perfect match for his daughter Bhoomi (Aditi Rao Hydari) and is all set to marry her off. However, a tragedy disrupts what could have been a happy ending for Bhoomi and Arun decides to avenge his daughter.

Of Sanjay Dutt, Aditi Rao Hydari told: “Sanjay Sir plays both my mother and father. He is such a terrific father on screen. His eyes convey infinite wisdom. Off camera too I felt as if I was communicating with my father.”

The other big release this Friday is Shraddha Kapoor’s Haseena Parkar, in which the actress features in the titular role. The Apoorva Lakhia-directed biopic is based on the life of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim’s sister. Shraddha went through tremendous physical transformation for the film and her fans have loved her look. The actress will co-star with her real life brother Siddhanth Kapoor for the first time, who features as the mafia boss in the film.

Shraddha promoted the film in high spirits and is looking forward to a great response from audience.
