Mumbai: It’s been a demanding and challenging phase of shooting for Ranveer Singh. The superstar has been tackling the super negative and challenging role of Alaudin Khilji for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus ‘Padmavati’.
Which is why, when he has found a small leeway to take a break from ‘Padmavati,’ Ranveer is planning a short, rejuvenating break. He has left for London, and will spend time catching up on his passion for sports while in the UK. His absence won’t interrupt the shoot plan of ‘Padmavati’ as it’s a scheduled break.
His spokesperson said, “Ranveer has been totally focused on giving his all to play Khilji. Now that he has some time off, he will catch up on the Real Madrid vs Juventus UEFA Champions League match on June 3 and the India- Pakistan cricket match on June 4 in Birmingham. He always finds watching sports rejuvenating. He will take it somewhat easy for the next few days.”
A much-deserved break for the famously hard-working star, which team SLB felt he needed. He will immediately begin to shoot for ‘Padmavati’ once he returns to India on June 8.
